Lumus provides a platform connecting users with spiritual advisors offering services including tarot reading, psychic guidance, astrology, numerology, and related spiritual practices. These services are provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm advisors or other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems to access the service
  • Collect information about other users
  • Post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Pricing

Pricing for advisor services is displayed in the app. Prices may vary by advisor and service type. All prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.

6.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.

6.3 Free Chat

New users may receive complimentary chat credits to start conversations with advisors. These credits are promotional and subject to availability and terms.

6.4 Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription:

  • Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period
  • You can cancel anytime through your account settings or App Store
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

8. Advisor Services

8.1 Independent Advisors

Advisors on Lumus are independent practitioners. We do not employ advisors but provide a platform for connection.

8.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any advisor's guidance. Results and experiences may vary.

8.3 Advisor Conduct

While we vet advisors, we are not responsible for their conduct, advice, or services. Report any concerns to our support team.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Lumus, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content in connection with operating the service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

LUMUS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUMUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumus and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Lumus shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
